HAIR RESTORATION IN BOZEMAN, MT

Non-surgical hair restoration in Bozeman

Noticing more scalp in the mirror, or more hair in the drain, can be quietly upsetting, and it’s worth taking seriously. Hair is one of the clearest signals the body sends about what’s going on underneath: stress, hormones, nutrition, sleep, and the health of the scalp itself.

At Instinct, we treat hair the way we treat skin. We start with the scalp, support the follicles you already have, and build from there, without surgery. We don’t do hair transplants. Our work helps thinning hair grow stronger and fuller, and slows ongoing loss, by working with your body’s own repair processes. We treat thinning scalp hair, and also thinning brows and beards.

Our approach: Clear, Strengthen, Refine

Every hair plan follows The Instinct Method, the same sequence we use for skin. We don’t skip ahead, because follicles respond best when the scalp around them is healthy.

Clear: a healthy scalp first

  • Keravive scalp treatment (by HydraFacial). Cleanses, exfoliates and hydrates the scalp, and delivers a growth-factor serum to the follicles. Each treatment includes a month’s supply of take-home serum to keep the work going between visits. Most clients do a series of three, about a month apart. $500 per treatment.
  • Scalp LED light therapy. Gentle red light that supports circulation and follicle activity. No downtime. $50 per session.

Strengthen: wake up the follicles

  • FoLix hair laser. A gentle fractional laser that stimulates weakened follicles. FoLix is FDA-cleared for improving the appearance of scalp hair in adult men and women seeking treatment for hair loss. Sessions are quick, with little to no downtime, and are usually done as a series. Some clients notice more shedding for a short time after starting. That’s hairs that were already near the end of their growth cycle being released a little early, making room for new growth. It’s temporary, and it often means the follicles are responding. Priced by the size of the area: $300 to $1,200.

Refine: targeted regrowth support

  • Scalp microneedling with growth factors. Fine needling creates tiny channels in the scalp, and a concentrated growth-factor serum is microneedled in so it reaches the follicles. $500, or $800 with our premium growth-factor serum.
  • PRF for hair (platelet-rich fibrin). Growth factors from your own blood, concentrated and injected into thinning areas. PRF is a newer, slower-release form of the better-known PRP. Like every injectable treatment at Instinct, it’s given by a licensed medical professional. $900.

Hair restoration programs

For most people, the best results come from combining treatments in a planned sequence rather than booking them one at a time. Our two programs do exactly that. Each one is a coordinated protocol that moves through Clear, Strengthen and Refine, with take-home care between visits, and our providers track your progress from the first session to the last.

The Mini Hair Restoration Program

A 5-month program, and a good introduction or a strong start if you’re just beginning to notice thinning. It includes:

  • 2 Keravive scalp treatments, plus 2 months of take-home peptide hair serum ($1,000 value)
  • 3 full-scalp FoLix laser sessions ($3,600 value)
  • 1 scalp microneedling session with our premium growth-factor serum ($800 value)
  • 1 month of a home scalp microneedling system ($198 value)

Your visits follow this order: Keravive, FoLix, Keravive, FoLix, scalp microneedling (with home microneedling continuing alongside), and a final FoLix session.

Pay as you go: $5,598 (full value, paid visit by visit)
Pay in 3: 3 payments of $1,675 ($5,025 total)
Pay in full upfront: $4,500

The Signature Hair Restoration Program

A 10-month program, and our most complete option for anyone ready to fully commit to restoring their hair. It includes:

  • 3 Keravive scalp treatments, plus 3 months of take-home peptide hair serum ($1,500 value)
  • 6 full-scalp FoLix laser sessions ($7,200 value)
  • 3 scalp microneedling sessions with our premium growth-factor serum ($2,400 value)
  • 3 months of a home scalp microneedling system with a growth-factor hair serum ($594 value)

Pay as you go: $11,694 (full value, paid visit by visit)
Pay in 3: 3 payments of $3,350 ($10,050 total)
Pay in full upfront: $9,000

See the programs and enroll online. You can pay in full or split the cost into 3 monthly payments.

If you’re not sure which fits, that’s what the consultation is for. It’s $50, and the fee goes toward a program or product purchased the same day.

Brows and beards

The same follicle-supporting approach works for thinning eyebrows and for beards that aren’t as full as you’d like.

  • Brows. For brows that have thinned over time or from over-plucking. $300.
  • Beards. For sparse areas, patchy spots and thinning edges in a beard that isn’t filling in the way you want. Priced by the size of the area, and we’ll quote it at your consultation.

What to expect

Hair grows slowly, about half an inch a month, so changes take patience. Most clients notice less shedding first, then new and thicker growth over three to six months. New growth can keep coming for up to 12 months after your final session. We take photos at every visit so you can see progress you might not notice day to day. After that, we recommend a few maintenance visits a year to keep your results.

Who it’s for

Non-surgical hair restoration tends to work best for:

  • Early to moderate thinning, including pattern thinning in men and women
  • Shedding after stress, illness, pregnancy or weight loss, once the cause has been addressed
  • Thinning brows, and beards with sparse areas or thinning edges
  • Anyone who wants to protect the hair they have and grow it back stronger

It’s not the right fit for every kind of hair loss. Areas that have been fully bald for years usually no longer have active follicles to work with, and scarring or patchy hair loss needs a dermatologist’s diagnosis first. If sudden or heavy shedding started recently, we may suggest checking iron, thyroid and hormone levels with your doctor before treatment. FoLix’s FDA clearance covers lighter to medium skin tones. If you have a deeper skin tone, we’ll talk through your options and the right settings at your consultation. If a hair transplant would serve you better, we’ll tell you.

Frequently asked questions

Do you do hair transplants?

No. Instinct offers non-surgical hair restoration only: scalp treatments, laser, microneedling and growth-factor therapies that help your existing follicles grow stronger hair.

What’s the difference between PRP and PRF?

Both use growth factors from your own blood. PRF is spun more gently and without additives, so it forms a soft gel that releases growth factors more slowly. We offer PRF.

Is FoLix FDA-cleared?

Yes. FoLix is FDA-cleared for improving the appearance of scalp hair in adult men and women with skin types I to IV who are seeking treatment for hair loss.

Which program is right for me?

The Mini Program is a good introduction, or a fit if thinning has only just started. The Signature Program is the most complete option for more noticeable thinning or anyone ready to commit fully. If you’re unsure, book a consultation and we’ll help you decide.

How many sessions will I need?

It depends on the treatment and on how much thinning there is. Most plans include a series of three to six visits over several months, then occasional maintenance. We’ll map yours out at your consultation.

Will my hair shed more at first?

It can. After FoLix especially, some clients see extra shedding for a short time. Those are hairs that were already near the end of their growth cycle, released a little early as the follicles wake up. It usually settles within a few weeks, and new growth follows. If you’re worried, tell us and we’ll check in with you.

Does it hurt? Is there downtime?

Keravive and scalp LED feel relaxing and have no downtime. FoLix and scalp microneedling can feel warm or prickly for a few minutes, and the scalp may be slightly pink for a day.

Can you treat thinning brows or beards?

Yes. We treat thinning eyebrows ($300) and sparse areas or thinning edges in beards (priced by area), as well as scalp hair.

Where do I start?

With a hair consultation. We’ll look at your scalp, talk through your health history and what’s changed, and recommend a plan, starting with Clear.
